Best Presentation Awards - GEP 2026

Aiming to recognize research excellence, encourage the work of early-career scientists, and promote quality in congress presentations, the Organizing Committee of the XVIII Meeting of the Specialized Polymer Group (GEP 2026), in collaboration with Wiley & Sons and El Corte Inglés, acting as Technical Secretariat of the Congress, hereby announces the call for the Best Presentation Awards.


A total of 6 awards will be granted, divided into two main categories:

? 1. Category "Flash Presentation + Poster"

Sponsored by El Corte Inglés, Technical Secretariat of the GEP 2026 Congress

Awards aimed at recognizing the quality of presentations in the combined format (Flash + poster presentation), valuing scientific rigor, synthesis capacity, and clarity of oral presentation:

  • ?? 1st Prize: €250 El Corte Inglés Gift Card.

  • ?? 1st Runner-up (Accésit): €125 El Corte Inglés Gift Card.

  • ?? 2nd Runner-up (Accésit): €125 El Corte Inglés Gift Card.

?? 2. Category "Poster Presentation"

Sponsored by Wiley & Sons

The publisher Wiley & Sons will award 3 independent prizes of €100 each to highlight research quality, methodological clarity, and visual impact of communications presented in the poster session. Each award will be sponsored by one of its prestigious specialized journals:

  • ?? Journal of Polymer Science Award: €100 (Gift Card).

  • ?? Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics Award: €100 (Gift Card).

  • ?? Macromolecular Materials and Engineering Award: €100 (Gift Card).

 

?? General Information and Evaluation Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Candidates with an accepted communication presented in the corresponding modality (Flash+Poster or Poster).

  • Evaluation: The selection will be carried out during the congress by a jury composed of members of the Scientific Committee.

  • Assessment Criteria: Scientific novelty, methodological clarity, poster visual design, and communication skills.

  • Award Ceremony: The official announcement and presentation of awards and gift cards will take place during the Closing Ceremony of the Congress.
